Join us for a splashy evening of racing, food, and community!

Schedule of Events

• 5:00 PM: Food Trucks arrive. Enjoy gourmet grilled cheese and burgers from Yummy Tummy and sweet treats from Kona Ice (available for purchase). 

• Check in at the Girl Scout Duck Table BEFORE 6 p.m.

• 6:00 PM: Judging & Race! Get ready for the creative design contest and the big splashy showdown in Minnehaha Creek.

• When: Sunday, August 16th, 2026 | 5:00 – 7:00 PM

• Where: Arden Park, Edina

• Who: All Edina Girl Scouts and their families!

The Splashy Fun

• Duck Race: Race your rubber duck from bridge to bridge in Minnehaha Creek! 

• Design Contest: Show off your artistic skills! Ducks will be judged for their creative designs!

• SWAPS Exchange: Girl Scouts are highly encouraged to make and bring SWAPS to share and exchange with other Edina Girl Scouts. Don't miss this opportunity to connect and trade!

Registration & Cost

• Cost: $10.00 per duck

• What's included:

  • 1 official race-ready rubber duck

  • 1 fun patch

  • Equipment and facility rental

  • Entry into the speed race and design contest
