Pinewood Derby

What is it?   Edina Girl Scouts of all ages can design and create a car to race at the Pinewood Derby - Girl Scout Style.   The race takes place on an 4 lane track with a computerized timing system that shows instant results and gathers all statistics.  Awards are presented for special design categories (Girl Scout Car, Fastest Looking, Coolest Shape, Best Paint Job, Most Bling/Shiniest/Prettiest & Most Simplistic) as well as the top 8 finishers.

A special thanks goes out to Cornelia's Cub Scout Pack 78 for the use of their equipment and expertise.  Thanks to Christ Presbyterian Church for the use of their space for this event. Boys race in the morning, girls in the afternoon.
