We know you have what it takes to be a star so come join us at "Be A Star" Edina Encampment . We've got so many off-the-hook activities planned including water sports, archery, flag and fire! Also, throw your talents into the mix by creating a Public Service video with your troop! Collect autographs during the day then experience the excitement of being a star at the Red Carpet Premier Event! It's time to break out of your shell and show the world your talents! Spoiler Alert: the paparazzi is sure to be there!

Who: 3rd Grade Girl Scouts and older (are you younger? see below for Mini Encampment!)
When is this fabulous event? 8 am, Saturday, June 1st through 12 pm, Sunday, June 2nd 2013
Where: Camp Lakamaga, Marine on St. Croix, MN
Cost: $30 stars (girls) -$20 agents (adults)
Includes: fabulous cuisine, star accommodations, nosh, "A-List" activities, patch, fashion band and more!

Should you take advantage of this once in a lifetime opportunity, the following contract must be honored: (coming soon!)
Safety-wise: Two adults must attend for 1-12 girls; 3 adults for 13-18 girls (based on Brownie ratio)
Training: One adult from each troop must complete the following GSRV Beyond the Troop Training: Sleep In, Cook In and Cook Out. First Aid training is also required. Trainings can be split between chaperones
- ALL Starlets must be registered Girl Scouts
- The FAQ (below) is a must read before registering.
- Drama Queens need not apply!

Be A Star Mini Encampment:
Who: 1st and 2nd Grade Scouts
What: An Encampment sampler for the little ones. Spend the morning exploring camp and working on the hiker badge. Then, join the big girls for lunch.
Where: Camp Lakamaga, Marine on St. Croix, MN
When: Saturday, June 1st, 2013 8:45 am - 1:15 pm
Cost: $10 per Scout, $5 per adult
