Water quality activities done for you!

Minnehaha Watershed District’s Education Department is offering education classes for kids. This program was active, then de-funded, and now thankfully back up and running! Quote from a Concord Troop Leader, "Our Junior Scouts did this 2 or 3 years ago and it was one of the highlights from the year."

Mallory Anderson, Education Specialist (contact informartion below), would be happy to work with any Scout Troop to customize one of their programs on water quality and watershed issues. These topics tie in with Centennial Day of Service Badges, but can be conducted any time.

This is a perfect opportunity for a leader to schedule a meeting and invite the rest of the troops from the school. It is a great community building event right before the Centennial Day of Service.
